Wesley Sneijder Open To Manchester United Move In January
Manchester Unites will now have the opportunity to finally live their dream of signing Dutch midfielder, Wesley Sneijder onto the team at the Old Trafford.
Sneijder is set to be a free agent come January 2015 after a row with his Turkish club, Galatasaray over unpaid wages which activates a clause in his contract.
The consecutive non-payment of wages on time means the 30-year-old could be allowed to depart to a new club for nothing in the next transfer window.
The talented play-maker has been a target for United for the last two years, and their two bids for him had failed as they have been unable to agree a fee to bring him to the EPL .
However, Louis van Gaal could now land his compatriot in the new year for nothing – after Sneijder revealed he’s not been paid for three months.
He would be able to command high wages with a fee not involved, but United wouldn’t be able to resist finally landing a player they’ve courted for such a long time.
