Sagbo and Assou-Ekotto Face FA Ban For 'Quenelle' Sign Comments



The FA has charged Hull's Yannick Sagbo and QPR loanee, Benoit Assou-Ekotto with improper conduct for social media posts relating to the 'quenelle' gesture and they now face possible ban.

Tottenham Hotspur Hopes New stadium Will Be Ready By 2017


Tottenham Hotspur hope to be able to move into their new 58,000-capacity stadium come 2017.

The new stadium would be next to their current White Hart Lane ground, which holds 36,000 fans.

FIFA Ban Barcelona, Spanish FA



The world football governing body, FIFA, has handed Barcelona a tranfer ban for the next two transfer windows, for breaching rules relating to the international transfer of players under the age of 18. The Catalan club has also been fined a cash sum of 450,000 Swiss Francs(€369,000).

FIFA also sanction the Spanish FA(Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol, RFEF) for similar offences and were fined 500,000 Swiss Francs (€410,000)

Champions League: Manchester United Hold Bayern Munich To 1-1 Draw

 

Manchester United put aside their poor performance in the EPL and produced a spirited performance to hold Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie at Old Trafford.

Rummenigge Rules Out Kroos Move In The Summer



Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has rubbished rumours of an imminent move for Toni Kroos  to Manchester United this summer.

Kroos’ current contract runs out in the summer of 2015 and recent contract extension talks has not yielded any fruit, as no agreement  as been reached paving room for a possible move for the young midfielder.
