Euro Qualifier: Diego Costa Out Of Macedonia Match
Chelsea striker, Diego Costa has been ruled out of Spain's Euro 2016 qualifying opener with Macedonia on Monday with a hamstring injury.
The 25-year-old injured himself in Thursday's 1-0 defeat by France and was replaced in the 67th minute.
Summer signing Costa, who has scored four goals in three Chelsea games, has only won five caps for Spain having switched his allegiance from Brazil.
He has been replaced in the squad by Barcelona teenager Munir El Haddadi.
A Spanish football federation statement read: "Diego Costa has a myofascial injury to his hamstring muscle in his left thigh. The injury was detected with an MRI scan after the player expressed some discomfort during yesterday's match against France.
"All the tests carried out by the medical staff will be sent to Chelsea."
Spain boss, Vicente del Bosque has called up uncapped teenager Munir El Haddadi of Barcelona to replace the injured Diego Costa in his squad
