Arsenal Announces Departures Of Bendtner, 10 Others
Arsenal have confirmed that the contracts of 11 players of the club will not be renewed will be leaving the club when their contracts officially expire on June 30.
The Eleven players include six first team players and five academy players
Flop, Nicklas Bendtner and Park Ju Young leaves while Kim Kallstrom and Emiliano Viviano return to their parent club after expiration of their loan spell at the London club.
Bacary Sagna and Lukasz Fabianski both will leave as they have completed their move forManchester City and Swansea City respectively.
"Nicklas Bendtner and Ju Young Park come to the end of their contracts, while Kim Kallstrom and Emiliano Viviano’s loan spells are set to conclude.
"As already communicated, Bacary Sagna, Lukasz Fabianski and Zak Ansah have completed permanent moves to Manchester City, Swansea City and Charlton Athletic respectively." A statement on the clubs official website reads
"Meanwhile, academy players Chuks Aneke, Daniel Boateng, Zach Fagan and Leander Siemann also depart having reached the end of their current agreements.
"Everyone at Arsenal would like to take this opportunity to thank all of these players for their contribution to the club, and to wish them well for the future." The statement added.
As it now stands, Manager, Arsene Wenger will have to shop for a backup goalkeeper to compete for the number 1 shirt with Polish, wojciech Szczesny, and a world class out-out striker to help Olivier Giroud upfront.
