Remy's Move To Liverpool Collapses
Loic Remy's dream of playing in the champions League as suffered a set back as his imminent move to Liverpool has collapsed.
Though the Merseyside club are refusing to give details on why they pulled out of the deal, it is understood there is an issue with the French international's medical.
Liverpool's £8.5m bid had activated a release clause in the contract of the player, and a switch to the Merseyside was only subject to him (Remy) completing a medical.
Remy flew to the United States, where Liverpool are touring, on Monday but with the recent development, he now face the prospect of a return to QPR.
The 27 year old played for Newcastle United on Loan lasted season and made 26 Premier League appearances scoring 14 goals, which earned him a place on Didier Deschamps' 23 man France squad to the World Cup in Brazil.
