Former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has agreed to take up a long-term teaching job at Harvard University.
The 72-year-old Scot, who retired as United's Manager last summer will be lecturing Ivy League students on a course named 'The Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports'.
Ferguson had previously gave a lecture on his management style at the university in 2012, while his blueprint for managerial success was included in the Harvard Business Review in October.
"I'm delighted to have the opportunity and privilege to contribute to such a respected centre of excellence," Ferguson said in a statement.
"The time I have already spent at Harvard has been a stimulating experience and I look forward to developing my relationship and activities with the students, faculty and friends of the Harvard Business School community." He added
Harvard business school professor Anita Elberse said: "We look forward to welcoming Sir Alex Ferguson on the HBS campus to share his remarkable leadership journey, and contribute to our Executive Education participants' ability to make a profound difference in the world.”
Ferguson during his reign as Manchester Unioted's Manager guided the team to a total of 38 trophies, - 13 Premier League titles, 2 UEFA Champions League, 5 FA cup, 4 League cup, 10 community shield trophy, 1 UEFA Cup trophy, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup and 1 FIFA club world cup tittle - before announcing his retirement On 8 May 2013, after 26 years at the club.
