'Chosen One, Wrong One'; United Dismisses Moyes



Finally! After series of speculations and rumours of an imminent sack of the Coach, Manchester United has announce the sack of Manager, David Moyes effective immediately.

The Club Hierarchy has decided to part ways with the 'Chosen One' just nine months after suceeding legendary Coach, Sir Alex Ferguson after 26 years in charge, under the recommendation of same.

A short message on United's official website reads " Manchester United has announced that David Moyes has left the Club.

"The Club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role."

United has been unconvincing this season with series of poor results which has left them in seventh position on the EPL table, and have missed every chance to play in the Champions League next season first time since
1995 and are in danger of missing out on European competition altogether for the first time since 1990.

Moyes joined Manchester United after 11 seasons in Everton saying he could not turn down the opportunity to move to Old Trafford and began his job on 1 July and led the team to as much as 11 Premier League defeats  (six home losses and five away) so far with his former club defeating them home and away.

United were also bundled out of the FA Cup by Swansea City befor loosing to lowly rated Sundwerland in the Semi-finals of the Capital one Cup.

Although talks are said to be ungoing with Netherland's Coach Louis Van Gaal, Player-coach, Ryan Giggs is expected to take charge of United's next game at home against Norwich on Saturday before a substantial Manager will be appointed.
