Brazil 2014 World Cup: Donovan Leftout Of USA Squad
Landon Donovan will not be making an appearance at the World Cup in Brazil as he has been left out of Jurgen Klinsmann's final 23-man squad.
Donovan was initially named in Klinsman's 30 man provisional list and it seems he will be the core of the attack giving his experience and productivity .
The Country's all-time leading goalscorer with more than 50 goals appeared in just three of ten matches in the final round of qualifying matches last year after taking a nearly four-month break from the sport.
The 32-year-old attacker, who was named the Most Valuable Player at the last Gold Cup tournament has featured for his country in three World Cups scoreing five goals,
Other notable ommission from the squad are Maurice Edu, Joe Corona and Terrence Boyd.
