Italian Seria A side, Inter Milan, has announced that Arsenal defender, Bacary Sagna has rejected its offer to join them in the summer.
club Owner, Erick Thohir made this known on Wednesday ahead of Inter's home game against Udinese on Thursday.
Thohir told reporters: "Sagna has decided to remain in the Premier League."
Sagna's current contract with the Gunners runs out in the summer and he has refused to sign an extension as recent contract discussion has broken down so far.
Inter recently signed Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic but have been linked with a number of other English Premier League players like Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko, Chelsea striker Fernando Torres and Bacary Sagna,
Thohir in recent days said he had been awaiting feedback from Arsenal regarding an offer to Sagna, who has made over 200 appearances for Arsenal since joining the club in 2007.
Asked about strikers Dzeko and Torres, Thohir said: "For sure, the club could use a player of their calibre."
