Manchester United have announced the team's squad numbers ahead of the 2014/2015 English Premier League season with Belgium international, Adjan Januzaj inheriting the No.11 shirt worn by legendary Ryan Giggs after the former retired from the game in the summer.
New signings Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw were handed the numbers 21 and 3 respectively while the club's Legendary No.7 shirt remains vacant after been vacated by Antonio Valencia over a year ago.
New captain, Wayne Rooney and his vice, Darren Fletcher keeps their squad numbers 10 and 24 respectively and mercurial striker Robin van Persie's squad number also remain unchanged.
Surprisingly the No. 9 shirt was not listed at all probably stating that it is reserved for a possible addition in the attacking position.
