Where is the EPL title heading to

The English Premier League has finally kicked off after a long wait with both fans and pundits looking forward to every match day with anxiousness and hope their teams perform to expectations.

For some of the Clubs in the League, it is a fight for survival, for some other, it is just pride while for some selected few, it is a fight for the 'Title', the real question now is 'who is it going to be this season?'.

Is it going to be the current Champion, Manchester City? do they have the charisma and material to defend their title, or will it be Chelsea? who had to bring back Jose Mourinho just for this purpose of winning the Premier League again. Maybe it's going to be Liverpool, who after a long time in the wilderness challenged for the title last season but narrowly lost it to City thereby failing to add to their 18 Premier League triumph.

Arsenal are also in the mix, probably they can build on their form from last season that saw them end their almost a decade without winning any trophy when they won the FA Cup, Also not left out is ofcourse the 20 time record winning Manchester United who had a disappointing outing last time finishing in 7th spot on the table.

Manchester United kicked off their 2014/2015 EPL campaign on a rather disappointing note; losing to Swansea City at Old Trafford thereby casting doubt on their readiness to compete with other League power house for the title, however this doesn't rule them out of contention, believe me, with an experience coach in Louis Van Gaal and their wealth of talent on the pitch, the team is going to bounce back and show the footballing world, that competitive side they are known for.

Even though they have a FIFA restriction on acquisition of players, 'the lousy neighbours' as they are called have been able to strengthen their already compact team with the likes of Mangala, Fernando, Sagna, Caballero just to make sure they are fully stoked for what is going to be a very competitive season.

Dubbed the most complete team in England, with the likes of Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri, David Silva marshaling their midfield and Aguero partnering Dzeko upfront to take down any defence, one will want to fall to the temptation of giving them the title outrightly but EPL is so unpredictable

The Reds have had a turbulent time in the League over the years, as they have been confined to settle for life outside the 'top four' but a spirited Liverpool last season played them back into contention for the title and i believe football fans will want to see more of their competitive team play this season.

Liverpool has spared no expense in their buildup to this season after narrowly losing out on the title last season to eventual winner, Manchester City, as Coach Brendan Rodgers has been extremely active in the transfer market, bringing in good cover in every department of the team to give them good depth as the season progress. Who knows maybe this might be their season to make it 19.

The Jose Mourinho tutored Chelsea is another team who is believed to be a strong contender for the English Premier League this time out. The summer acquisition of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona and a potent striker in Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid simply states the obvious, that the BLUES are out for the trophy they last won when Mourinho left them years back.

Following their disappointing performance when it matters most and their inability to win any trophy for nine years many football lovers has labeled this side a perennial underachiever, but something of note is this, this team has never failed to finish in the top four positioning despite their 'ON and OFF' form.

The greatest undoing of the North London side has been lack of depth in the team, and Coach Arsene Wenger seems to have realised that MONEY wins you the title, little wonder he has invented hugely in the transfer market.

With a major summer recruit in Alexis Sanchez, the weight in the attack line on Oliver Giroud seems to have been lifted but the truth is for the team to actively compete for the title, Arsene Wenger needs to sign an established out and out striker to help the team.

Although the afore mentioned teams are regarded as likely teams to dominate and win EPL title this season, this does not say other teams do not stand a chance, of course they do, the ability of teams like Everton, and Tottenham cannot be underestimated, they can cause upsets and produce the unexpected.
