Johnson, Agger, Sakho To Miss Arsenal Tie
Liverpool Coach, Brendon Rodgers has confirmed that the defensive trio of Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger and Mamadou Sakho will miss the crunch tie against table toppers, Arsenal on Saturday.
Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger are suffering from ankle and calf injuries respectively while Sakho suffered a hamstring injury in the fixture against Chelsea on December 29 2013.
Rodgers confirmed Johnson and Agger are closer to returning to full training than Sakho, but all three will miss the visit of the Gunners.
"No, they'll not be back for this one, but we're hopeful that next week they will be back," Rodgers told reporters
"Glen Johnson is making a great recovery, so there might be a point towards the middle or end of next week when he can return. Daniel Agger will hopefully be next week at some stage.
"Sakho is still out for a little bit, but apart from that we will be the same as what we have been for the weekend."
Liverpool lost the first leg of this encounter 2-0 but will rely on the form and combination of Suarez and Sturridge to deliver the goods upfront.
