Liverpool continue their impreesive form in their midweek encounter against Fulham, coming back twice to level and even score a late winner to defeat Fulhan 3-2 away from home and put themselves in contention for the Premier League title.
Steven Gerrard scored a late penalty as Daniel sturridge was brought down in the box to give Liverpool the lead for the first time in the game after falling behind to a Kolo Toure's own goal and another from Kieran Richardson at close range.
The visitors fell behind just eight minutes into the game; Lewis Holtby played a superb through-ball to Richardson on the left and Richardson's first-time pass was sliced into his own goal by Toure.
Minutes later, Luis Suarez drew a smart near-post save from Maarten Stekelenburg as Fulham defend resolutely but could not hold on for too long as they conceded four minutes into half-time.
Sturridge beat the offside trap to latch onto captain Stephen Gerrard's sublime first-time pass with the outside of his boot and the England international striker kept his composure to coolly tuck the ball into the net via the post.
Liverpool were close to doubling their lead later on as both Sturridge and Gerrard went close with long-range strikes before the break.
At the restart, it was all fire works, as Steve Sidwell chipped a brilliant ball towards the Liverpool goal from the halfway line but Simon Mignolet managed to collect.
Liverpool responded with a Luiz Suarez low drive from the edge of the box which beat the goalkeeper but rebounded off the post.
Fulham were infront again on 63 minutes, Martin Skrtel deflected Sidwell's cross into the path of Richardson, who fired home from close range.
The lead however lasted just nine minutes, however, as Coutinho cut in from the right just outside the area before striking a left footed 20-yard drive into the far corner.
The visiting fans were sent into pandemonium in the 90th minute, when Sturridge was brought down by Sascha Riether in the penalty area, which Gerrard duly dispatch to take Liverpool to four points adrift of table-toppers Chelsea, and Fulham remain bottom.
