The trio of Ejike Uzoenyi, Rabiu Ali and Kunle Odunlami has been named in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) best eleven players of the just concluded African Nations Championship staged in South Africa.
The squad has three players each from Nigeria, Ghana and Champions, Libya and two others from Zimbabwe.
Libya goalkeeper Mohamed Abdaula was picked in goal while Nigeria’s Kunle Odunlami, Partson Jaure of Zimbabwe, Joshua Tijani of Ghana and Libya’s Ali Salama were the back four.
The most valuable player of the competition Ejike Uzoenyi led the midfield that also parade Kudakwashe Mahachi of Zimbabwe, Ghana’s Jordan Opoku and Mohamed Elgadi of Libya.

Nigeria emerge third in the tournament, defeating Zimbabwe 1-0 in the losers final while Libya won Ghana 4-3 on penalties in the final to emerge winner on the competition.
