The trio of Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri and Fernandinho maybe available for selection as Manchester City prepare to host Barcelona at the Etihad Stadium in the round of 16 stage of the UEFA champions League.
The trio have all resumed some level of training over the last few days and are likely to be back for the Capital One Cup final against Sunderland at Wembley on March 2.
Aguero returned to first-team training on Wednesday despite earlier speculation that he could be out for around a month with the hamstring injury he picked up in the 5-1 win against Tottenham at the end of January.
Nasri who has been training since January 28 using the brace and heavy strapping to aid his recovery also showed up for trainning without the leg brace which was protecting the knee injury he sustained against Newcastle on January 12 and He's expected to resume full first-team training in 10 days' time.
Fernandinho is also in light training after picking up a thigh injury, and City are hopeful the Brazilian will be training with the rest of the squad by next week.
