Dimitar Berbatov has joined AS Monaco on loan until the end of the season after completing his medicals.
The 33 year old joined the Claudio Ranieri led team until the end of the current season shunning offers from Tottenham
The former Fulham striker whose contract with his parent club expires at the end of the season express his excitement at joining Monaco.
"I am both happy, excited and a little nervous to be honest I can not wait to start training with my new club and begin a new chapter in my career," he told Monaco's official website.
Berbatov will be filling the void left by striker Radamel Falcao who is ruled out for the rest of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament.
