Rooney, Van Persie Return To Training, May Feature Against Cardiff
Manchester United has been handed a huge boost ahead of their Premier League encounter at home to Cardiff
City as strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Pierce have returned to full training. Midfielder Mouane Fellani also trained with the team at Carrington today.
Van Persie missed 11 games in all competitions due to a thigh injury, and was back in training just before the shock Capital-One cup defeat to Sunderland but was not fit enough to play the match.
Rooney on the other hand has been sidelined since New Year’s Day also returned to training last week
United is currently having a very poor run of form this season haven won 11 of their 22games so far, drawn 4 and lost 7, thereby placing 7th on the table with 37points.
Head Coach, David Moyes is optimistic the signing of Juan Mata and the return of key players can help revitalize the fortune of the team and lunch them back into contention for the tittle.
