Wenger Looks To Kallstrom As Matuidi Is Set To Sign New Contract
Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger has turned is sight to Kim Kallstrom over a shock deadline day move in a bid to strenghten his midfield as news emerge that blasie Matuidi has agreed to extend his PSG contract.
Injuries to Aaron Ramsey, Jack wilshere and a four match ban for Matheiu Flamini leaves the gunners with just Mikel Arteta in the central midfield position and kallstrom has been identified as a suitable player to fill the position.
The 31-year-old Spartak Moscow man is hopeful of securing a move before the end of the transfer window and can make his debut appaerance when the Gunners face Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Kallstrom comes with immense experience, the Sweden international was at Lyon for six years and has 108 caps for his country. The move would cost the club a small fee.
