Osazie Joins Stoke In Swap Deal

Cardiff City striker, Peter Osazie Odemwingie has joined stoke city in a swap deal that sees Kenwyne Jones move in the opposite direction.

Nigeria international sign an 18-month deal with the club and could be available for selection as early as
Wednesday when Stoke visits the Stadium of Light to play Sunderland in the Premier League.

Thirty-two year old Odemwingie has struggled to cement a starting position since joining Cardiff in the summer from Westbromich Albion in a £2m switch and was out of favour under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

City manager Mark Hughes was delighted about the swap deal, he said: "We're delighted to have signed Peter."

He added: "Things haven't perhaps gone as well for him at Cardiff as he would have hoped and he's really keen to start afresh with us."

Osazie scored just two goals in 17 matches for Cardiff
