Inter has confirmed the signing of Hernanes from Lazio for an initial fee in the region of €18 million, which will potentially rise to €20m depending on performance-related bonuses.
Hernanes put pen to paper on a four years contract that will keep him at the San Siro until 2014.
The Brazilian midfielder is Inter’s second signing of the winter transfer window as Danilo D'Ambrosio had earlier been brought in from Torino.
Hernanes joined Lazio from Sao Paulo in 2010 and played a total of 154 matches for Lazio in all competition scoring a swooping 40 goals, he was very influential in Lazio’s Coppa Italia triumph last season and has established himself as a firm favourite with Lazio fans.
